On September 10, 2026, a group psychological workshop was held on the topic “Femininity and Boundaries: Being Yourself While Staying Connected”.

The main goal of the event was to create a safe space for restoring inner resources, strengthening personal boundaries, and finding a balance between inner strength and femininity in times of crisis and uncertainty.

The workshop was led by practicing psychologist and group work specialist Lyudmila Stroyanetskaya.

During the session, the psychologist employed a comprehensive approach that combined therapeutic techniques with elements of social art and psychological education.

Participants were able to physically experience how their personal boundaries manifest and become aware of their own reactions when interacting with others.

Using examples from their personal experiences, the participants analyzed instances of boundary violations, discussing how to defend their personal space in a healthy way without feeling guilt, fear, or aggression.

Creative and relaxation exercises helped relieve emotional tension, reduce anxiety, and boost self-confidence.

Thanks to an atmosphere of trust and acceptance, the participants were able not only to acquire important psychological skills but also to freely discuss relevant topics and share their personal experiences of socialization and mutual support.

The event was organized by the Women's Initiatives Nonprofit Organization with support from the International Organization for Migration.
